| Activities in Southern Sweden (Skane) Here in the heart of southern Sweden, you will find many activities that will add to the enjoyment of your holiday. To begin with, for nature lovers, we are in the heart of the forest, perfect for long walks which can include bird watching, animals, swimming in the lake, picnics, and more. As to fishing, you will find many lakes, full with Perch, Trout, and Salmon. While fishing, how about a cool refreshing swim? With the coming of spring, there is a large influx of bird live; in April of 2004 (76 different species were spotted in the surrounding area.) | Towards May, thousands of flowers and plants typical for this part of Sweden, and with the coming of the summer, you can enjoy canoeing, sailing, windsurfing and lots of other activities such as horse back riding, golf, hand gliding, cycle touring and much more for the whole family. In the winter, the hunting season beings around October, where you’ll find wild boar, deer, elk, and other species. Hunting clubs are open. You can also try ski, depending on the weather, there are quiet a few small skiing resorts around the area. We will be happy to provide you with a lunch pack for your outdoors adventures.
